This is mudman

Another file I found on my old computer. I was a fan of Sludge by Ultraverse back in the day, so thats where the idea came from way back when. I tweaked him a bit this weekend, gave him some clothes make him look less like a "superhero" and more like he works in a junkyard.

Fireant

Oldie but a goodie.

Cleaning up files off my old computer and ran across these. This is one of the first characters I ever created, originally it was called Ant-X (yea I know, think i was reading alot of x-force at the time). I created the character back in 97 i think, but these pages where done in 2003. You can see my different colors i was playing around with. I still love this guy. Can't doing anything with him right now, but someday my friend.

Real men wear pink

Had another idea last night, so I designed the main character. He
might be pink but he can still kick your ass. Not sure if I like the
colored linework.

Aliens vs Ninja vs Samurai

My latest comic strip (Aliens vs Ninja vs Samurai) went live on Zuda.com's monthly "Zuda Competition".  Basically, I'm up against 10 other artists and the winner gets a contract with DC Comics to do another 52 screens of the story.  An interesting bit about Aliens vs Ninja vs Samurai is that every page was sketched, inked, colored, and lettered using Adobe Flash CS4 and then exported to PNG for Zuda.  Historically, I drew everything by hand with pencil and paper, then inked, scanned, colored (typically in Adobe Photoshop), and then published.  This was my first experience using Flash CS4 during every step of the design process and I have to say I was impressed.  Thank you, Adobe, for making this an incredibly stream-lined and fun project.  I'll definitely be using Flash CS4 (or CS5 when it arrives) on future projects like this one.
